Insulation coordinators

The Insulation Coordinator follows all insulation activities and ensures that they are implemented in accordance with current safety regulations, procedures, specifications, interval plans, general plans and quality standards.

In order to prepare his work, the Insulation Coordinator must be able to understand the scope of work and extract the necessary information regarding insulation from it. The Insulation Coordinator has specific knowledge of insulation and can ensure quality (be able to judge, for example, whether to keep old material or replace it with new)

The duties of an Insulation Coordinator can include:

• Supervising the tender process for the outsourcing of insulation work;
• Supervising the contractor on site;
• Checking the quote with regard to the scope and the contract;
• Status follow-up and administration.
