Subcontracts Specialist
Discipline(s): Administration , Project Support - Region: (B) Antwerpen - Education: Bachelor - Experience: 3-8 years, 8-15 years
For our client in Antwerp we are hiring a Subcontracts Specialist.
As Subcontracts Specialist you will perform quantity surveying for several construction packages (i.e. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrument Works etc). The ideal candidate will work in a multi-cultural integrated team and reports to the Subcontracts Administrator, together reporting to the Subcontracts Administration Manager.

Responsibilities:
Check and approve:
i) the unit price Measurements with the drawings issued for construction and
ii) As Built Measurements based on as built drawings submitted by construction contractors. Verify quantities and relevant economical evaluation according to the preambles and method of measurements stipulated in the Contract.
Prepare and issue, on weekly basis, the report and the status of the (pre and as built) Measurements for each contract
Expedite and ensure timely receipt of the Measurements from construction contractors
Maintain proper filing of all Measurements to facilitate any audit
Liaise with construction contractors to verify their Progress Payment Certificates (issued on monthly basis)
Check the evaluation of any extra works requested by construction contractors / client
Participate to the analysis of construction contractors' claims
Participate to the preparation of contract revisions
Monitor the official correspondence between client and construction contractors and inform the subcontract administrator for any urgent issues.
Participate to the preparation of official letters for construction contractors
Follow up the expiry dates of Bank Guarantees (Performance, advance payment, etc), and the insurances provided by construction contractors.
Participate the weekly subcontracting meetings with subcontractors and participate to the preparation of the notes of meetings after each weekly meeting.
Participate to the continuous update of the subcontracts monthly report with the extra works issued during that month.

Construction QC Inspector – Civil & Steel Structure
Discipline(s): Civil , QA/QC , Structural - Region: (B) Antwerpen - Education: Bachelor - Experience: 3-8 years, 8-15 years, 15+ years
For our client in Antwerp we are hiring a Construction QC Inspector – Civil & Steel Structure.
Review and comment on Subcontractor procedures and Inspection & test plans.
Perform witness, inspection & surveillance checks and continually assess Subcontractor QC performance.
Ensure the quality of the work in accordance with the Construction Site Quality Plan, approved ITPs, and procedures within assigned areas.
Ensure that all inspection activities are recorded in the appropriate records.
Monitor Subcontractors QC resource levels to achieve quality standards according to agreed ratio.
Identify and document Subcontractor and Supplier quality deficiencies and initiate non-conformance process as required.
Record deficiencies and/or incomplete works on punch items and liaise with supervisor/ superintendent to expedite necessary rectification.
Maintain close liaison with discipline supervisors to coordinate filed inspections.
Make sure that materials used are in accordance with project technical documents and applicable codes and specifications.
Support QC/ turnover team for collecting relevant QC records.

Implement HSE procedures and standards in compliance with applicable laws, Health and Safety Documentation and Environmental Management Manual.
Be diligent and draw attention to unsafe acts, unsafe behaviours and unsafe conditions.

EHS Technician

For one of our customers i we are in search for a EHS Technician parttime 20h .
Guide and support teams and individuals in EH&S-related tasks and activities in the field for 40% of your time.
Implement detailed EH&S / IH programs mainly focused on compliance using EH&S work processes, standards and procedures. Communicate and guide about changes.
Works with the following systems; Operational Dashboard, CAPA tool, Documentation compliance.
Management of Change: coach and guide people in the field and promote the Management of the Change process of the department in an active way.
Keep the IH assessment tool up to date for the facilities.
Assure compliance with REACH / MSDS’s updates for the facilities.
Participate in EH&S related root cause investigations.
Complete assigned scheduled compliance tasks and guide teams to complete tasks.
Participate in specific self-assessments/audits as an element focal point.
Report Risk Inventory Evaluations and Risk Reduction plans for the facilities.
Strong team member in all EH&S communications.
