For a chemical multinational we are hiring a Area Construction Lead Civil.
Overseeing project activities as required by the Construction Manager not limited to site preparation, construction and closeout and endeavours to ensure areas assigned and completed in line with the project schedule.
This is a field Roll: you will be expected to spend 80% of your time in the field.

• Coordinate with the Main EPCm and Construction Contractors throughout construction to ensure compliance with design requirements
• Be knowledgeable of construction and environmental best practices
• Provide guidance to the main EPCm and subcontractors to build strong culture of HSE and environmental awareness
• Manage subcontractors to ensure compliance with permit and project requirements
• Monitor the construction schedules and advise Construction manager of any potential bottlenecks with potential mitigation’s
• Monitor subcontractor's work for compliance with the Project Quality Control Plan and Critical Path Schedule
• Provide input into the integrated project schedule and into progress or milestone payments
• Coordinate site access and work activities with other discipline leads to support the integrated project schedule
• Coordinate with project logistics team to ensure material deliveries
• Coordinates with the project engineering to ensure IFC’s drawings are issued in line with the project schedule
• Resolves site related technical queries with relevant discipline engineer
• Champion Quality, Safety and Environmental initiatives and lead by example
Je profiel
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or suitable proven senior site construction related experience
• Minimum 10+ years Civil/Building experience
• Knowledge of current construction engineering standards and best practices
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
