For a construction project in Rotterdam, we are looking for a Discipline project manager Civil

Vacature omschrijving

Reports to the Project Manager
Is end-to-end responsible and accountable for the discipline construction contract: reporting, progress, planning and follow-up\
Manages contractors on site with regard to technical and engineering aspects
Reports in detail to / coordinates with Engineering and Construction Manager
Reports in detail to / coordinates with QA/QC
Reports in detail to /coordinates with colleague Discipline Project Managers
Is supported by the C&P Manager for contractual issues.
Provides input for the weekly/monthly reporting
Issues all official project reports required by owner and business partners
Highlights risks and mitigations plans
Enables key decisions through information and transparency
Safeguards compliance with quality and safety in design plans and takes remediating action as needed
Manages engineering productivity and progress, addresses technical queries
Manages the relationship with the contractor at all levels and is the single point of contact for the contractor.
Reviews technical drawings and documents to ensure integrity and identifies optimization/value engineering opportunities
Participates in on-site reviews and technical problem solving
Maintains confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement

Technical engineering and construction know-how with regard to discipline
Lateral thinking across disciplines technical as well as commercial
Excellent communications skills
Ability to set priorities

Requirements
MBO/HBO technical study, Civil or Industrial
Have at least 10 years of experience in discipline
