For a chemical multinational we are hiring a E&I Engineer/Construction Supervisor E&I

Vacature omschrijving

Site visits will be part of the job, to understand the situation in the field
You are involved in checking design documents and construction packages made by external design contractors
The work packages will have to be checked for compliance, completeness and constructability
Where possible, you will propose alternative materials and/or working methods
The job includes co-managing the design contractor in the process from basic design to Final Design, RFQ and RFC packages
You will actively participate in internal and external meetings
You will have contact with other departments to ensure that the design meets the expectation of these departments
Support the Construction Manager for all electrical engineering and construction matters
Manage parts of the electrical construction activities
Supervise (sub)contractors
Prepare and issue permit to work
Proactive in SHE matters
Assist Commercial team for electrical matters

Je profiel

Engineering degree in electrical engineering or equal
Willing to work in a small, flexible and enthusiastic international team
A valid VCA-VOL certificate and a good safety awareness
Minimum 10 years of work experience in the (petro-)chemical sector
Clear experience in working in or with design contractors
Strong affinity with the execution of construction works
Include your experience into practical designs and construction packages
Good understanding of English in speaking and writing and fluent in Dutch
Critical and sharp attitude to identify omissions in design
Enthusiastic, goal-oriented, proactive work attitude and team player
