Vacature omschrijving

As E&I technician , you are responsible for:

Mod Migration E&I technician activities during Pre-Turnaround

ABB cabinet testing by simulating inputs and outputs (AI / AO / DI / DO) together with a Process Automation Engineer. This activity is done at the control room building (207 building) and often includes 1 CEN (Controller Cabinets), between 2 to 4 IOEN (Input/output Cabinets) and ABB Clients running the furnace application.

Participates in dedicated “SIS Validation Procedures” training to be delivered by Manufacturing Representative

Participates in dedicated “ABB hardware” training to be delivered by S&S at the 207 building LHC plant.

Does Pre-Commissioning of ABB system by completing the Pre-Commissioning registers that include checking of Engineering units, Correct polarity, Correspondence with the right graphic, Positive or negative slope, Linear, square root responses, etc.

o Analog inputs by generating 4-20 mA in the corresponding IOEN.
o Analog outputs by measuring 4-20 mA in the corresponding IOEN.
o Digital Inputs using the auxiliary testing boards from S&S tools.
o Digital Outputs using auxiliary testing boards from S&S tools.

Mod Migration E&I technician activities during Turnaround or Cutover (3 /4 times per year)

During Turnaround, the main activity is to assist construction and have seamless commissioning:

o Assist to Identify / Disconnect all Ribbon Cables / Power supply cables.
o Assist to remove the Mod5 CANs and install the new IOEN cabinets.
o Assist Demolition of “Digital Aborts” at the CBJB Cross Board.
o Assist with continuity checks of Ribbon cable.

Monitor valves replacement at the field due to FC to FO change

Support Operations, Process Automation and Process Safety team to achieve safety validations by simulating inputs / outputs with HART communicator.

Je profiel

You have a technical Short-Cycle Tertiary Degree (i.e. associate degree - technical MBO level 4).

You have minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing, or another related field.

You are fluent in Dutch (speaking, writing, reading) and you have good knowledge of English (reading and writing).

Loop testing experience and troubleshooting experience related to industrial instrumentation will be a plus for the selected candidate.
