For a chemical multinational we are hiring a EH&S Improvement Manager

Vacature omschrijving

Responsibilities:
Set Strategy & Lead Implementation
Support implementation and use of EH&S Applications listed below
Works with business and site Manage Production Work Process Leaders and other Functional Leaders and Global I/T Tool Subject Matter Experts (GSME's) to implement the applications
Train and coach users of the applications and mobile solution technology and how they support associated work processes
Provide support to the users for the applications and mobile solution technology
Works with the Global/Business I/T Tool SME to support and enhance the applications and mobile solution technology
Participate in site or business TFP Networks as applicable.
Support workarounds and temporary fixes for known problems
Support population and maintenance of required data for each application (administrator)
Define, report, and help resolve problems with the applications and mobile solution technology
Suggest and provide value case for enhancements to better support the associated work processes and improve user productivity
Participate in piloting of applications

Identify / Facilitate Improvements
Proactively monitor system use and effectiveness / efficiency; identify gaps and improvement opportunities
Lead development, implementation and tracking of site EHS-Ops performance measures related to systems and work processes.
Assess, identify, and document system/work process related deficiencies and enhancement opportunities.

Provide Training & Consultation
Identify site EHS training needs for specific applications and conduct and facilitate training
Facilitate leveraging of best practices across the sites
Partner with Regional EHS Techs to facilitate and deliver training and leveraging of best practices and sharing of learning experiences.

This role requires strong leadership skills; must be able to quickly establish rapport, set expectations and provide environment to ensure effective learning.
The individual selected for the role must be capable of effectively coaching, redirecting and escalating when progress is not being made or when the process is not being followed.
Use of Change Management principles is essential to help ensure department personnel are fully engaged in implementation and resolution of issues.
The individual selected for this role must have strong computer skills to resolve issues between software, hardware, network, and supporting infrastructure.
High aptitude and working knowledge of computer hardware and software, networking practices and infrastructure
Self-starter, strong initiative, and leadership
Great communication skills - able to communicate effectively with persons in all levels of the organization
Use of Implementing Change Effectively (ICE) methodology to change behaviors
Knowledgeable of EH&S Life Critical Standards
Strong problem-solving skills
