We have a great and challenging opportunity for a Geoenvironmental Engineer to be located in Terneuzen, the Netherlands. As Geoenvironmental Engineer, you will provide specialized technical support and solutions for project teams, operations and maintenance. Furthermore, you will act as the interface between Engineering and Remediation.

What will be your responsibilities?

Investigations and Interpretation of Soils and Groundwater, plus monitoring results

Consulting, Recommendation and Design support for Sites and Projects on:

Deep and Shallow Foundation Systems

Traditional and Environmental Piling (driven, helical, sheet, micro)

Soil Improvement / stabilization

Slope Stability

Earthen Containment

Groundwater Management and Dewatering Designs

Drainage systems

Containment

Managing impacted soil and groundwater during civil projects

Interface of Regulatory, Technology, and Innovation Emphasis on soil and groundwater remediation projects

Providing advice in relation Dutch\European Regulation (PGS29)

Development of engineering scope, design parameters, and associated technology

Engagement with external consultants to scope deliverables, develop performance criteria, review designs, and ensure designs and recommendations are not overly conservative

Construction support including excavation safety, (impacted) groundwater management, crane matting, and subsurface utility interface

Support development of best practices for global and regional geotechnical design at the interface of Dow Engineering and Remediation
