HSE JV Manager is a key member of the security team and responsible for the assurance on delivering safe operations. The HSE team leader will lead and participate in key operational HSE decisions.
Review, and analyze HSE inputs in order to provide leadership with business health check and develop the required intervention plans.
The role will ensure that an integrated HSE Management System is in place that meets the organization HSE Policy (No accidents, No Harm to People, No damage to the Environment) and the shareholders expectations.
The HSE team leader is responsible for the provision and support of the safe and efficient operations. This includes offices, production facilities and both offshore and onshore facilities.
The post holder will ensure that resources to effectively support HSE are available and meet local law and regulation and all business and environmental requirements.
Key accountabilities
Works with JV HSE team and HSE manager to plan and execute company operational HSE strategies, assurance plans and activities in JV office Operations sites in accordance with JV HSE and operations policies and procedures.
Define and implements JV HSE policies and procedures and provide leadership, coaching and assurance in the application of such policies. Provide HSE consultation and support to ensure safe operations.
Support the JV risk management plans, including safety and operational risks and ensure plans are in place, updated and followed up to eliminate or mitigate these risks. Ensure JV HSE performance statistics and KPIs are in place to drive the continuous improvement.
Ensure suitable HSE training matrix training plan and resources are in place to enhance employees HSE trainings.
Drive JV incident investigation process and action tracker and ensure plans in place to mitigate re occurrence.
Support and define JV contractor HSE management system to monitor, coach and audit contractor/supplier HSE activities. Ensure that JV crises management and emergency response capabilities, training, drills are in place and systems available to provide its maintenance and linkage with the government and other sister companies arrangement.
Assure that JV programs and plans are in place to maintain compliance with local laws and regulations.
Support the JV process safety management and KPI’s are in place to drive the continuous improvement. Review HSE policies and practices periodically to ensure suitability for changes in circumstances and operations revise as required for approval.
Deliver continuous performance improvement in the area of HSE through regular assessments, using either competency available in the organization, from the shareholders, or from independent third parties
Define and coordinate a schedule of safety audits and inspections. Participate in all audits and evaluations to ensure that recommendations and outstanding HSE matters are tracked until resolved.
Je profiel
Minimum of 15 years experience in HSE management.
Dutch & English Language required .
Significant related experience in Health, Safety and Environment practices and philosophy.
HSE experience in the management of site construction, maintenance and operational activities, including contractors and suppliers.
Experience in the Wind Offshore or joint ventures environment desirable but not essential.
Highly effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with the ability to achieve results through appropriate influencing, motivation and delegation and to communicate with all levels of staff, regulators, contractors and suppliers.
Highly motivated, self starting individual who requires minimal supervision with a drive for learning and self improvement. Strong interpersonal skills to lead, work within and coach Teams and build relationships and networks.
Pro active leadership skills outside the HSE agenda. Good communication and networking skills with demonstrable ability to work within a multi disciplinary team are essential. The successful candidate will have excellent problem solving skills, project planning experience and the ability to work in a high activity environment with minimal supervision.
