The Logistics Manager prepares the Logistic execution plan and procedures and then provides the plan to PDT Procurement for inclusion into the Project Execution Plans.
Oversees all project logistics execution
Act as coordination between Procurement and construction teams to ensure alignment

Oversee Execution of the logistics plans
Preparation of all procedures needed from Logistics workforce in the early stages of project execution:
Terms and Conditions for transport
Packing, Marking and Shipping Instructions
Transport Plan
Customs strategy (under supervision of logistics customs team)
Insurance coverage and claim procedure
Ensure all logistics implications are managed and fulfilled in relation to Custom Duties Ensures all required documentation is coordinated to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements Liaise with Finance / Insurance to ensure visibility of all shipments
Oversee the tendering and award of all logistics contracts (i.e., logistics surveys, transportation, freight forwarding, export packing, customs clearance, etc.)
Ensure compliance with International Commercial Terms (INCOTERMS) and regulations associated with import/export
Route and arrange transportation of shipments between Site, module Yards and Marshalling Yards
Coordinate transportation for normal loads, special oversized loads, hazardous and Complex international shipments by all modes of transportation
Perform expediting and/or tracing activities with carriers, packers, and shipping agents
Support purchasing with carrier related insurance claims for overage, lost or damaged cargo
Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations related to transportation, import and export
Arranging for maritime surveyors as necessary
Suggest and implement solutions to guarantee relationship between logistics and construction to assure all equipment arrives to site as scheduled
Determine requirements for, obtaining and administrating export or import licenses of countries through which a shipment will move
Determining and administrating customs and other Documentation requirements
Supporting and administrating logistics services in coordination with buyers and contract administrators: attend Quality, Safety, Logistics and Environmental awareness discussions with construction team
Complete support Expediting Dept. staff in the review of the relevant documentation
Availability to periodically visit site for supervision and control of all tasks related to local on shore transportation issues
Assist to Kick off meetings for Purchase Orders considered as Critical
