Project Lead Rotating For the 2021 Outage

The part project lead rotating is member of the Ineos oxide CHP outage organization. Within the area of rotating equipment, two main installations are located:

Siemens TLRI steam turbine
Siemens SGT 800 gas Turbine

From these two area’s the Steam turbine scope will be the focus of the part project lead. The gas turbine outage is covered by a LTSA with Siemens and in this part, the scope is limited to a supporting and facilitating role.

Regarding Steam turbine scope.

For the steam turbine a major outage (100.000 OH) is scheduled that will include opening of the casing. This will be the first major inspection of the turbine. The part project lead is responsible for minimally the following aspects:

1. Part project management including but not limited to progress reporting, financial reporting, safety reporting et cetera as specified by Ineos.
2. Scope development for the major outage, specifically noting NTD / DT Testing protocols.
3. Scoping of strategic spare parts for procurement,
4. Developing Tendering / awarding process of technical package,
5. Develop organogram for staffing of QA /QC and maintenance team for rotating area,
6. Coordination of all works in steam turbine enclosure execution of outage

Regarding gas turbine scope

1. Part project management including but not limited to progress reporting, financial reporting, safety reporting et cetera as specified by Ineos.
2. Scope execution according to activity list.
3. Developing Tendering / awarding process of technical package,
4. Coordination of all works in gas turbine enclosure execution of outage



Additional aspects may be defined for each scope area if required by Ineos in discussion with supplier.
Scope
Steam turbine
The scope for the steam turbine encloses the following aspects:

1. Steam turbine, including control, extraction and SS valves, up to the lock out valves.
2. Bearings in the whole powertrain 5x (including generator)
3. Condenser operation both steam- and waterside. Including condenser cleaning system and booster cooling system.
4. Gland steam, Vacuum system and evacuation system
5. Oil and hydraulic system including hydraulic actuators et cetera
6. Opening of enclosure including temporary roofing and storage / work area’s
7. Condensate system
8. Coupling (generator steam turbine)
9. Special tools and crane,
10. Down day tickets from maintenance department

Not included are:

A. main cooling channels. (civil)
B. HP en LP by pass stations (Mechanical) C. DCS Control system (Project)
D. Generator scope (Electrical)

Gas turbine
The scope of the gas turbine encloses the following aspects:

1. Support Siemens on Level C outage Gas turbine power train as requested,
2. Covering all activities as stated responsibility (Purchaser) in the activity list from the LTSA.
3. Opening of enclosure including temporary roofing and storage / work area’s
4. Special tools and crane,
5. Down day tickets from maintenance department

Not included are:

A. DCS Control system (Project) B. Generator scope (electrical)

For the role of part project lead we require a long term commitment of a specialist. The function will evolve during the project according to the following demand analysis.
