In the role of R&D technician LC_MS, you will provide technical support in the preparation, execution and reporting of experimental analytical activities. You will work on studies in collaboration with research and technical development groups in Europe, USA and Asia. The primary focus of the job will be on technical problem-solving using LC-MS capabilities.

For this position we are seeking a candidate who has excellent problem-solving skills and affinity with separation techniques (LC) and mass spectrometry.

Key roles & responsibilities:

Safely executing analytical experiments with LC-MS, instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, new method application, and timely and high-quality reporting. The role has a “hands-on” component.

Delivering, in close collaboration with other researchers, high-end analytical expertise to support various manufacturing and research projects.

Developing experimental plans and perform standard and non-routine tasks to support a wide range of innovative activities for various businesses.

Collaborating with local and global researchers.

The applicant will need to be capable of working on multiple projects in parallel.

Je profiel

A Bachelor (HLO) education in analytical chemistry or organic chemistry with a strong background in analytical characterization techniques (LC-MS).

Self-driven personality and excellent interpersonal skills. The candidate must be keen to collaborate with internal clients to deliver effective solutions.

Strong team player: local and global teamwork in an interdisciplinary environment is an important part of the job.

Good computer skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing in English.

Strong focus on and commitment to safety.

Proficiency in English is preferred. Knowledge of Dutch is not mandatory, but willingness to learn Dutch is desired.
