Vacature omschrijving

In this role you prepare cost estimates for capital and expense projects to facilitate project authorization and enables cost effective project execution. Applies established cost estimating practices to ensure that estimates are realistic and exhibit the defined project scope.

Main responsibilities:
Provides estimates to evaluate various conceptual alternates and supports economic evaluations.
Utilizes historical data with appropriate installation factors, site specific factors and experience to produce cost estimates for project authorization and execution purposes.
Collects and correlates necessary project-related cost and schedules data needed to determine equipment, material, subcontract, construction labor, expenses and such in directs as engineering, taxes etc.
Participates in estimate reviews with Project Teams to ensure scope consistency.
Evaluates project deviations in order to provide data to Project Steering Team for proper decision making.
Works with cost management to assure alignment between estimate and cost management baselines.

Je profiel

BSc or equivalent experience is required
Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
Estimating Tools; Icarus 2000 & IPM.
EPC Outsourcing Guidelines.
Contingency and Risk Analysis Techniques.
Authorization Process.
Conceptual Schedule Application Tool.
Knowledge of the Accounting Work Process and the Procurement Work Process.
Construction Change Order Process / Unit Workbooks.
Project Cost Estimating Methodology.
Quantity Surveying.
Experience in construction practices, incl. Shut-Down/Turn Around/Revamp estimating.
Project Cost Management and Project Cost Tracking Methodology.
