Functieomschrijving
For a client in Zeeland, we are looking for a Warehouse Assistent.
The Warehouse assistant works with the Warehouse Coordinator maintaining the warehouse. Taking care off Discharging trucks and administrative actions as well as delivering/loading outgoing shipments and related administrative support. Keeping a safe and clean work environment. Able to operate a Forklift and aware of Safety-rules on a shipyard. Working for all projects that are active on the yard so descent communication skills in English are mandatory
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace in the warehouse.
• Sorting and storing of spare/old parts that are backhauled from rigs.
• Discharging incoming goods/Loading outgoing goods and related administrative duties
• Working with warehouse coordinator to have needed project goods available at all times.
• Cleaning the warehouse and aware of Safety in the workspace.
• If necessary willing to help out on not warehouse related yard activities.
• Working with several project managers at multiple projects so able to communicate decently
• Handling the warehouse administration in absence of the Warehouse Coordinator
• Being able to communicate with external parties (Customs agent/Suppliers/Logistic Services)
• Being able to recognize and handle ADR goods as Oil/Paint/Chemicals.
Je profiel
• Forklift license valid in the Netherlands
• Opleiding: technisch
• VCA certified
• Experience in Offshore or Maritime Industry
• Familiarity with best practices
• Results oriented
• Microsoft Office skills
• SAP knowledge or at least willing to learn
• Strong team spirit
