Vacature omschrijving

The Mechanical Engineer will be invoiced with both rotating and static equipment. The Engineer shall be responsible for equipment specification, supplier selection, review and approve supplier documents and equipment acceptance.

Key responsibilities

Preparation of material requisitions for inquiry and purchase

Preparation & review of technical evaluations of supplier bids

Review and expediting of supplier drawings & documentation;

Attendance of supplier meetings and resolve supplier related issues;

Participation in inspections, factory acceptance tests

Internal communication lines with: Engineering & Projects department, HSSE department, Maintenance department, Operations department

Je profiel

Bachelor or Master Degree

Proven experience in executing Mechanical design and engineering of process equipment like pumps (centrifugal, reciprocating), compressors, cooling belts, conveyor belts, packaging lines and handling packaged unit equipment. This in preparation of the material requisition, Technical evaluation of vendor offers & Order specification and review of vendor drawings.

Proven experience in executing Mechanical design and engineering of static equipment, especially piping, pressure vessels, pumps, and heat exchangers. This in preparation of the material requisition, Technical evaluation of vendor offers & Order specification and review of vendor drawings.

Familiar with EU and NL legislation for static equipment

Experience with quality assurance and control for design and fabrication of static equipment

Knowledge of pressure equipment design codes and standards

Result-driven, pro-active and self-supporting

Continuous focus on (prevention of) costs

Fluent use of the Dutch or English language, preferably both
