For our client in Terneuzen we are searching for a Static Equipement Engineer

Vacature omschrijving

The purpose of this job is direct plant support, specification / ordering of new static equipment, modification of existing static equipment and to coordinate design activities in order to produce information and documentation for the piping, civil and electrical disciplines both internally as well as externally.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the front end loading of projects and definition of the requirements for equipment in cooperation with process engineering and / or plant people and / or technology centers.
Responsible for the writing and reviewing the inquiry specification, evaluation of quotations and approval of supplier documents.
Responsible for technical contacts with the suppliers, assistance in on time delivery and within budget.
Responsible for the design of modifications to existing equipment.
Responsible for PCE input to other disciplines, construction and maintenance.

Je profiel

Minimum Master degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Fluent in English; in addition preferably also fluent in Dutch or willing to learn Dutch.
Knowledgeable on other discipline is a supplementary asset, e.g. maintenance, inspection.
Required experience and skills include:
Minimum of 7 years' experience with design of equipment.
In-depth knowledge of applicable design codes.
In-depth knowledge of the majority of common static (PCE) equipment, such as:
pressure vessels, all types of heat exchangers (shell & tube, plate & frame, air cooled, spiral), towers including tower internals, storage tanks, silo's, hoppers, bins, etc.
Strong written and oral communications skills
