Expat information point

Nouvall increasingly works with expats who come to the Netherlands to work and live. To ensure that colleagues feel at home in the new living and working environment, we are increasingly collaborating with the Expat Center Zeeland. They are a welcome support for the team that carries out the initial supervision of the new employees. The Expat Center Zeeland organizes meetings and activities for employees who are new to the Netherlands. For example, they organized an information afternoon for all expats who recently arrived in the Netherlands. Our colleague Neels Snyman has been here and found him willing to report on this:

"On 14 May 2022 I attended the Expat Expo in Terneuzen, and I want to share my experience, the dedicated teams of different organizations were ready and more than willing to welcome, help and assist me with any questions that I had as an international employee with information to get me on my way fast and easy.

They supported and assisted on a wide range of topics such as permits, housing, schools, health care as well as personal needs and had a lot of good, useful information on traveling the area.

According to me the event was a huge success and a must for all expats wanting more information about life in Zeeland, South of Netherlands, there were also a wide range of food and activities to enjoy.

As a new international employee from South Africa, I would highly recommend to all new Colleagues arriving in the Netherlands Zeeland district to find out about the next event and to attend the Expat expo when there is one again, the organizations go out of their way to welcome, inform us about the area, the serious things and the fun stuff for the whole family."
